Supervisor Sheila M. Meegan called the work session to order at 3:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Town Clerk Jacqueline Felser.

Supervisor Meegan read the Fire Prevention Code instructing the public where to exit in case of a fire or an emergency.

Discussed their proposal for use of Tim Russert Park as a permanent home for South Buffalo Rugby Club and improvements/additions they would like to make to the park

RECREATION SUPERVISOR LAUREN MASSET
- Movie in the Park events – “Moana” on August 25th and “Sing” on September 1st
MARY JOSEFIAK, SENIOR RECREATION THERAPIST OF SENIOR SERVICES
- Fitness instructor appointment is a part-time position and individual must be a certified instructor; salary is partially funded by Silver Sneakers; would like to hire a second instructor for back up and to share the days
- WNY Children’s Psychiatric Center fundraiser will be held Sunday, August 13th at the Senior Center with BW’s chicken dinner and theme basket raffle; money raised will go toward legal fees to keep the Children’s Psychiatric Center open

- Presented three proposed parking plans for Veterans Memorial Park; funding from Senator Gallivan will help support the project
- Switzer Park improvements will go to bid shortly; grant funds will cover a portion of the project
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hanley, to recess to executive session at 3:35 P.M. to discuss three litigation matters and three real estate matters.
Ayes: All Noes: None Motion Carried
The board members returned from executive session at 5:30 P.M. and the work session concluded.
