Supervisor Sheila M. Meegan called the work session to order at 3:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Steven Tanner.

Supervisor Meegan read the Fire Prevention Code instructing the public where to exit in case of a fire or an emergency.
RECREATION SUPERVISOR LAUREN MASSET
- Summer programs are underway and running well
- Currently working on finalizing the dates and movie selection for the “Movie in the Park” event
EMILY MELSKI - FARMERS MARKET
- Kids Day will be held July 20th with the Recreation Department organizing games, face painting, etc.
- Lions Club will host Celebrate Summer on July 27th
HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
- Agenda items - two employees resigned to take different employment
- Milling and paving will begin Monday, July 17th on Thorndale Avenue, Tindle Avenue and Bellwood Avenue and should be completed in approximately three weeks
SENIOR CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER JOHN GULLO
- Working on finalizing sign ordinance amendments with the biggest change being seen along the Union Road corridor; signs on trailers will not be permitted
TOWN ENGINEER STEVEN TANNER
- Community Center & Library Project – on schedule overall
ü
Controls will be bought off state bid; same control system the town is used to
ü
Demo on existing part of library began; small amount of asbestos tile that needs to be abated
ü
Road closest to the library will stay closed and signage will be put up for parking at the temporary library

- Basement inspections continue in phase 3; will be going to phase 4 in approximately three weeks
- Final walk through of Rosewood Project; project is at completion with only minor things necessary to finish
SUPERVISOR MEEGAN

Assemblyman Michael Kearns was able to obtain funds through a grant for library project upgrades
·
Covington Drive area will be added to the sound barrier request resolution
·
Part-time clerical positions are available

Public hearing date to be set for July 24th for Sign Ordinance amendments
HUMAN RESOURCES LAURA DEVINE
- Summer hiring process is complete and all went well
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hanley, to recess to executive session at 3:20 P.M. to discuss a litigation matter.
Ayes: All Noes: None Motion Carried
The board members returned from executive session at 5:00 P.M. and the work session concluded.
