Supervisor Meegan called the work session to order at 3:00 P.M. with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag led by Councilman Hart.

Supervisor Meegan read the Fire Prevention Code instructing the public where to exit in case of a fire or an emergency.
ROGER LIS, R.A. MERCER
Ø Roger Lis of R.A. Mercer presented an overview of a draft form of the audit. He stated field work was completed in May, noting one piece of legal correspondence is needed to finalize the audit. The changes in cash balance report for the Town Clerk/Receiver of Taxes and Town Justice was more than adequate and final.
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER JOHN GULLO
Ø Requested approval of memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Town’s Emergency Management Office/Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Elma’s; similar to the MOU currently in place with Amherst. Erie County Volunteer Firemen’s Association currently has a mutual aid agreement with emergency responders for fire departments; however, nothing is in place for CERT. Attorney for the Town Charles Grieco stated he would like to review the MOU prior to approval. Supervisor Meegan suggested Julie Israel also review.
Ø CodeRed System – testing throughout the town will take place in the next couple weeks; media will be informed and information will be posted on the electronic sign.

Motion by Supervisor Meegan, seconded by Councilman Hart, to recess to Executive Session at 3:45 P.M. to discuss two personnel issues, a labor issue and pending litigation.
Ayes: All Noes: None Motion Carried
The board members returned from Executive Session at 4:45 P.M.
The work session concluded at 4:45 P.M.
